Mar was usually a two-piece doom metal band from Providence, RI.
In early 2015 Mar was started in an Olneyville practice space by K and Eiríkr. They both played all the instruments. After ten years, six releases, and many shows Mar ended on July 10, 2025 with the release of their last album, Ruin is Rebirth.
